In need of help
Hey guy's I'm in a little bit of trouble here. I live in CT and after the snowstorm hit us last weekend i have been out of power. I managed to get the reptiles to a friends house but not in any proper encloser. I was wondering if anyone local had power with a spare set up could take my dragon for a few days until i get power back. for the time being the dragon is surviving but not thriving. Where we are staying does not have the space for our entire set up so a small tank next to the heater is holding him off for now. I hope i get power soon. last prediction is Tuesday.

Where in CT are you?? Would you be willing to travel to MA? I know it's kinda far but I'd gladly take it in for you, I have power....
Edit: and what about the BP?

Re: In need of help
My Bp is doing fine temps are a little on the cool side but still manageable for now. She is much more tolerable to this kind of situation. I may be able to meet halfway or something depending on where in mass you are. I am slightly south west of Hartford. Farmington area. Do you have a spare set up with or at least a partial I have lights i can bring with him i just don't want to drag a 75 gal tank around if i don't need to.

Re: In need of help
Sorry to hear this. Wish I could Take him in for ya. But, that's a long drive down to Florida with him. For future reference, if you have a computer back-up power supply, you can plug his stuff into it and it should last you a few days. I used them down here to run Fish tank pumps after a hurricane. Should work just as well for your herps heat sources.

Re: In need of help
that is good to know i don't have a back up power source but i might want to invest in one for this sort of situation. Even a car battery and a power inverter would work i imagine.

I live in Attleboro, which is southeast MA, very close to the RI line. Looks like from Attleboro to Hartford it would only be an hour drive for the two of us to meet halfway. I have a 30 gallon tank I could put him in, as long as you have the lights I can surely care for him until you get power back. I have a red foot tortoise who eats greens daily and crickets for my Ts....
