    Ultratherm pads on sterilite tubs?

I'm picking up a female from CL this weekend and while she comes with a heat pad, I'd rather use a brand I trust. My rack isn't built yet, so my new girl will be in a sterilite tub on her own for now.

Has anyone used the ultratherm pads directly on a plastic tub before? I have them on my glass tanks taped on with electrical tape around the edges and they are working great. They are kept up off of the table a bit by those little carpet-covered furniture sticky things, the ones that keep your floor from getting scratched. I'm not sure what they're called.Would this setup be ok directly on plastic?

I'm guessing as long as I have a thermostat it will be fine, but I wanted to check with you more experienced folks before I make an order.

I have used an ultratherm on a tub before without any issues. I used foil tape to secure it to the bottom of the tub. You will be golden with a thermostat.

THIS EXAMPLE has it stuck directly to the tub.

I keep my boa in a sterelite with an ultratherm taped with foil tape, ran by a thermostat, works great, no problems.

I've used it right on the tub.

If those tubs can sit right on flexwatt in my rack, I figure that they can sit on that too.
