Is cat hair hazardous to BPs?

I might have to move my BP to my GF's apartment but she has a Persian cat which sheds like CRAZY. Would this be any problem?

No, I can't imagine that it would be an issue. I'd be more concerned with just making sure the snake is secure from seeking paws and claws.

I wouldn't imagine there being any issue as far as hair or dander is concerned.

    Edit: Beaten to it.

Even hair in the water bowl I don't see as an issue. They eat rats and I never heard of any snake having an issue because of ingesting hair.

My cats help me take care of my snakes LOL

Not really, but they watch and are very interested. They usually try to drink out of the water bowl or play with the shed skin, lol.

Yea, the hairs inside the bowl were my main concern, but as it was mentioned (which I didn't think about) they digest the fur of the rats.

The tank has a locking lid, that even unlocked my BP can't open. And it will be placed on a high place, so I doubt the cat will bother (lazy kittehs FTW)

let see with mom's numberous cats and I kept snakes for 20 years I not had any issues outside one red tail tried to eat a cat one day cause I lefet th door open as I was wiring up heat tape and let te boa roam the room at the time. I heard a loud thump and abunch of cat hissing as the boa tried to constrict the cat. which I prevented for becomging a meal ( in my book dumb me since mom has way too many )

I've never had an issue either and I have 4 cats. The rats shed just as much as the cats and create much more dust in the snake/rat room than any cat would.
