    High Humidity Q

I just got my rack built and the snakes in. The humigity after the first night was at 90% so i put more holes in the tubs. Today it was still at 90% so i put more holes in today. My question is will the few days at 90% hurt the snakes?

Temporarily, no it will not hurt the snakes. What type of substrate are you using? You don't want the substrate to be soaked either.

I use paper and I don't have any issues with my humidity. Do you have the water bowls near the heat source?

nope bowls on the cool side. Ive put more holes in my tubs and there down to 79% so ill probable put a few more holes on each side later on and see if it goes down some. Luckily its easier to get it down then getting it up in the tanks. I just wanted to make sure that those few days super high wasnt going to sicken them. The tubs helped wonders with my little pins stuck shed.

Glad to hear that you got the humidity down some. Tubs really do make a difference when the snakes shed. I used to have my bp's in tanks but after struggling with humididty so much I opted to use tubs. Now I have a rack and tubs and ever since I made the change my snakes have perfect sheds. Now I just need more snakes to fill up the empty spaces in my rack.
