What the heck is going on with my Enchi tonight??
Man I swear my Enchi boy is filled with p*@s & vinegar tonight. He is 3 months old and has been easy to handle until tonight. He shed last week, not a great shed so got him a humid hide and he got all of it off other than the top half of his head and a little bit on the back of his neck. Even with the humid hide he hasn't gotten that bit off yet. So today I soaked him for about an hour and went to try to get him to run through the towel, but he refused to let his head be touched. He started to get irritable and S'ing up at me so I put him in his tank with the towel and let him be. Well tonight he is spasticly rubbing his head in things. So I take a small tubaware dish cut a hole in the top and put a small amount of water in it to put on the warm side of his tank so he can soak at his choice over night, I have had success with this in the past with other Ball Pythons. And when I go to move things around in his tank for this hide he goes nuts. starts striking at everything. Even the glass of his tank when my hand passed it. Hopefully he can get that shed off his head tonight and relax. I sure hope the bad additude isn't a permanant thing now.

Re: What the heck is going on with my Enchi tonight??
i doubt its a permanent attitude, he probably got stressed from being force soaked plus the towel thing, and now he doesnt want to do it again so hes being pissy. i soaked mine a couple weeks ago, and he hissed at me a few times after when i tried to get him out again, first hissing in five years, hes never made a sound before or since though, and is back to normal, just give him a few days to relax and im sure he'll be fine
