Personally, unless you want to pick up a visual or het male I wouldn't bother with female hets because you will end up working with 50% hets if you are going to try to produce a visual.

As for base morph females that really depends on your budget. There are tons of possibilities. If you are aiming for single gene females I would consider adding a female lesser/butter/mojo for BEL, a spider female for spinners or bees, a fire or yellow belly female for fire flies or pastel yellow bellies and a pastel female for supers and lemon blasts. That's just some of the few you could pick up and do on a budget. If money is not an issue, you should think about what you want to produce and figure out what you need given the males you already have.

I'm saving for a Male albino pinstripe and breeder het albino female for $600 then a female Mojave for a BEL and a Fire female thank you Kinra I was on the edge with the hets and it didn't take much to push me lol I want to do spinners (worried about wobble this is my first spider so not real sure how to take care of it.. but from what i've READ it doesn't seem to bother the snake and some breeders think its cool/funny) Bees and BEL's I of course like the base morphs i bought too the pinstripe is my favorite right now it used to be my male pastel but he's my first BP so he always eventually will win me over I REALLY want to own(eventually cuz it will take a while and they are $$$) Pastel Fire Super Enchi!!! If you want to ad recessive genes in the mix i would go with what is gonna be the best bang for the buck. Genetic stripe combos are hot. Im breeding my male g stripe to a pin het g stripe now. The pin stripe g stripes are hot. The sterling g stripes are smokin too. But other recessives you cant ever go wrong with is pied combos, and hypo stuff. Anything clown is killer as well.

Sounds like a good plan. My current dream snake is an Enchi Bumble Bee, and I just need to wait until next year and then pray I get one.

As for the spider wobble, I have 1.1 spiders and 0.2 bees and their wobble isn't bad. They are just quirky pets. Most of the time you don't even really notice it unless you are looking for it. Occasionally there will be spiders that can't function on their own, but most seem to do just fine.

Pieds have really fallen in price. I've seen some nice male pieds go for $650-700 on kingsnake.com. They are still one of the more expensive morphs though. You could get a pair of het pieds for around $300 and try for a visual that way.

Yea pieds are dropping cause there are alot of pied combos out now. I know a guy that just bought 5 pieds on wholesale for 300 bucks a piece. Now keep in mind they are low white pieds but that doesnt mean a thing. Ive produced high white pieds off of low white breeders and ive seen high white pieds throw low white babies. The pied gene is what ya want. The percentage of white is just a preference thing. I think next year your gonna see normal pieds at the 500 mark on kingsnake.

You do run the risk of the hets actually being normals, but if you buy from someone with a good reputation and who offers paper work guarantying they are hets and you shouldn't have a problem. You will need to buy 1.1 to get a visual.
