When does breeding season finish?

Hey this might sound like a stupid question.. I recently found out that I need to pay for a shoulder surgery, and I was planning on purchasing my first breeder female as a hatchling in the next week. So that has to be pushed back now. I was just wondering when breeding season usually finishes for the year, as in when will most of the babies be sold out by? I want a fair chance at getting a good ball at a good price and I'm worried that by end of Nov or Dec, when I can afford a new ball, that most of them will be sold out. I heard that breeding season is Nov-Feb but maybe I heard wrong

Some people breed all year round. There will always be nice Balls available...You just need to take your time and find what you like.

Hatching season doesnt really end...I see people hatching out all the time. Some females that lay later or very early result in babies all year. But breeders will be more reluctant to sell breeder sized females as breeding season nears. But with the right amount of cash, im sure SOMEONE will sell to you

I agree with the other posters. There are babies available all year round. Mostwill be available early spring, and definitely do your research. You might get a great deal from one person, but paying a little more will get you better quality. Always go with the well started animals. And make sure it doesn't say mouser. In my experience, mousers are bad joojoo.

Thanks for all the advice guys. Yeah im thinking of just getting a baby female or two within the next few months, so I can get them raised in two years. Breeding snakes is such a long process, but probably really fulfilling at the end. Im stoked

I have only recently started hearing of breeders doing all year long breeding. I think it sounds like a great idea. This way you can space out all of your hatchlings. Year around fun!

To the OP, all sizes of females are available at all times. Right now is probably the best time to acquire hatchlings (price and availability wise) and the worst for getting breedable females (price and demand wise). Lots of people have hatchlings for sale and everyone wants breedable females for the winter season.
