What do you use for Water dishes?
I have a number of dog dishes that I have bought for water dishes - but they get expensive. ...7 bucks a piece or so?
What other less expensive solutions are there? I think i have seen folks use sections of PVC pipe and deli cups?
I have some bowls in there now that tip too easy - need to get more this week but don't want to get gouged at petsmart....

I go to my local dollar store for hatchling and sub-adult bowls. They are only $1 (surprise, right?) They are made out of a sturdy non-flexible plastic. I have to buy actual dog bowls for my adults, the dollar stores big bowls are incredibly flimsly. They don't tip but I don't like them. When I find a good deal on ceramic bowls I'll probably end up switching them all.

I found an entire case of ceramic dishes at my dollar store. About 5" in diameter, and an inch deep. Very heavy and sturdy, white on the inside for spotting mites, the outsides are tan, red and blue.
Sure I have to check water dishes more often than with deeper bowls, but that's not necessarily a bad thing when you don't have a large number of snakes.

I go to the dollar store and pick up glass or ceramic candy dishes for a dollar each. The glass is perfect and easy to clean. Its heavy enough that it wont tip over. I can take pictures for you when I get home if you would like.

Here's a vague idea of what I use. (Not great pictures but its all I have in my gallery since I'm not at home LOL)
These are the ceramic dishes I use for my smaller BP's and my rats food bowls. The rats in these pictures are small adults - for size reference.

This is the edge of the glass candy dish I use for my bigger BP's. This is only a 800gram female but I ran out of little dishes and didn't have a chance to run out to dollarama.
