Unhappy I messed up big time, can someone tell me what I did wrong

I was taking care of a Pacman Frog that no one wanted. The local herp soceity was going to raffle/auction him at the next local reptile convention. I had him on a moss beding sitting at room temp - about 80 degrees. I was feeding him crickets and he had a water bowel that he could fit in.

I went on a buisness trip for 3 days and when I came back he was dead. I misted before I left and made sure he had fresh water. Did he die because I wasn't there to mist him daily? I don't know exactly what I did to kill him and I feel horrible about the whole thing.

pacmans do need a totally wet environment with spots to burrow, and i beleive theyre supposed to be kept more towards 85, but three days shouldnt have killed him, if they get too dry, they case themselves in a kinda crust layer they secrete out their skin, and since they really only need to eat every 3days or so depending on age, he probably wasnt starved. this is what i do know about pacmans, but unfortunatly i cant say how he died, sorry

Could have been a bunch of things. Impaction is likely, He may have swallowed a piece of moss and a cricket, and the moss got stuck in his intestine. He may have been sick. He may have had a bacterial infection/ and or parasite(s).
