New DIY 28 QT rack! Super Easy and cheap.

Just thought I would share my two new racks I built over the last couple of weeks. Each only took me about 2 hours a piece to make. I will price everything up and list it as soon as I can! Each rack was easily under 140 with tubs. Not too shabby if I do say so myself. I will also make a dIY as soon as I can. Thanks!

Nice racks, but stupid question, why do you have heattape sticking out of the top of the racks?

First of all, Thanks! I put a good amount of time into designing these for the most efficiency. Second, being they are back heat, I had to have the tape come past the top shelf at least a little bit so I know its evenly heated. Also, just in case I need to put a small tub on top for a smaller ball. Such as the tub on the right.

    Yes I certainly can.

Alright, I started with the huge sheet measured out so all but one inch on the side wasnt wasted.

    The list:
6 Shelves all Cut to 17"x24"
    2 Sides cut to 24"x46"
    1 Back panel if you choose, 18 1/2"x 49" or 46" I choose 49 for back heat.

Now if you do choose to do the back panel you will have to buy an extra sheet of melamine. Also, I forgot to add that I was 1 shelf short with that plan, so you can use the room for storage or use a second sheet of melamine to make one more shelf and a back.

The way I measured it all out was just like this

    Tools used

    Circular Saw
    Cordless Drill
    T Square
    Metal Yardstick
    Several Pencils
    Chairs for saw horses
    My roomate

I think thats about it! If I missed anything let me know.
