safe silicone for ball python

I have a full grown lemon ball python in a 55g. I want to make a big water dish/hide out of plexiglass. What type of silicone should i use? How do i know its safe when theres like a million differant kinds?

Any silicone that reads 100% silicone with no extra additives is safe. Just make sure you let it dry for at least 24 hours.

most large petstores sell "Aquarium Grade" silicon, home depot has it too, i thinkits like 12 bucks for 6oz? somewhere around there

Aquarium grade is another way to say 100% pure silicone. So long as it's clear, has no added chemicals you'll be fine. Let it sit for at least 24 hours to be sure it's fully dry and your good.
