    Do pythons require light?

I notice alot of big breeders use tubs that are not clear and allow no light in. So im assuming BP's dont need light, is that right?

Eh, I personally try to at least keep the room lit in the day and dark at night. No lights directly over them though. Even in a dark tub there can be some light that gets in through the cracks between the tub and the next level in a rack or just through the partially see through tubs. Even if they don't care, we do have lizards in the same room, so we keep a schedule of when lights go on and off and we try not to turn them on after dark.

They don't need light. Natural daylight coming in is good enough, but most don't even use that.

Not NEEDED but they do get a source of daylight from the window anyways.
I wouldnt go out of my way to make sure they had light though.
