    Why are they doing this?

My adult females keep jamming themselves into their water dishes when they are in shed. This is something they've recently started doing, one did it last month and the other is doing it this month. My humidity in my tubs is fine (about 50%) and I get good sheds consistently. Neither of these females has hides, are they trying to hide in their water dishes? I'm just confused because this is a recent change, they didn't do this earlier in the year.

I didn't get a picture of my girl who is doing it now but here is my girl who did it last month:

In shed they can feel vulnerable so she may be trying to hide. All of mine have hides and I've only seen this when I take their hides for cleaning or to go get a new one
A room full of empty racks and thermostats that have been unplugged.

The one in the picture is a virgin female, I was going try to start pairing her with my enchi male in November. The other one was paired with a spider before I got her in August. I do want to breed them though, should I take this as a good sign and try pairing earlier than I had planned?
