I have a small uth on one side of a twenty gallon long tank. We use an acurite dual probe and it is taped with foil tape to the inside of the tank right in the middle of the uth.
Then I have aspen bedding. This is under a resin hide. The temp says 113.4 but when I pick up Pretty Girl she feels cold. I do have the uth on a thermostat thing by zoo med and it is on low.
On the other side of the tank is a bigger heater but the lowest temp I can get that two is 129 on another theromstat thing by zoo med. It is also measured by an acurite dual probe.
She seems more active when I turned off the larger heater but she felt warmer with it. She has ate once but has not had a bm.
Any advice? She is roughly about two years old and was given to me as a rescue. The lady who had her found her in a shed and couldn't keep her any longer.
She is in the process of a shed. She shed 50 % and I am soaking her now following the soaking tutorial sticky.
She is such a sweet snake I just want to do the best for her.
Thanks!
