For me it's only as need, to clean up but thats it. Seem like they don't want to be bothered..

Re: Handling While in Shed
Unless she hisses at me I take my big girl out at least every other day while in shed. I bought her while she was in shed. I perfer it cause it keeps them used to being handled incase an emergancy arises

Typically not unless there is an issue sometimes the handling while in shed will produce a bad shed, not sure why I have seen it at expos a animal goes in shed just before and has a bad one even if the humidity is correct the whole time, stress or handling not sure.

I don't handle mine while they are in shed, it just seems to stress them out.

Re: Handling While in Shed
I usually just leave mine alone when they go into shed so they can do their thing without any undue stress.

I'll handle mine in shed with no issues except when their eyes are clouded.

I also leave my guy alone when he is in shed. It has not been proven that it will definitely cause a bad shed, but why take that chance.

I do it only when needed. I try not to disturb them during that period.

If mine are out and moving around I'll handle them a little. But if they're not I leave them unless it's necessary.
