if you were to buy a snake...
so im not sure if this is the right section or not, but anyway, if you were to buy a particular morph, would you rather buy from a breeder who does a large number of snakes with alot of morphs, or one that has only been doing a few certain morphs for a number of years?
im asking cause i want to know if "specializing" in a few particular morphs would bring as much business as having alot of different morphs. assuming both companies had similar quality

I would rather buy from the breeder who has the best example of the morph I am looking for. Sometimes it's the ones that breed lots of different morphs, and sometimes it's the ones that specialize in that particular morph. I always buy based on the individual animal, not the breeder.

I agree! I would look at what both breeders are offering, if both have the morph I am interested in. Choose which one you like the best or which one represents the morph the best. You never know when a breeder, specialist or big time producer, will get a truly exceptional snake.

Yup. I would also only buy from someone who I know has the healthiest animals, even if that means sacrificing a little bit of their "visual quality" and get an average or slightly above average looking example. No point in getting an esthetically pleasing animal that is going to be a picky eater or any other number of PITA problems you can think of. To me, that is far more important than looks. Of course, you may luck up and get the best of both worlds.

I want to buy from the person that is reputable and has the animal I want (and I am very picky) size of the breeder, number of morphs or name does not matter.

I look for quality of the snake first then their reputation and customer service.
