    My little hisser. :)

Went to feed my pastel the other night and he wasn't to thrilled about me invading his space. It was so cute to get a little hiss from him. took the rat pink soon after that. Will be moving him up in food size the next week after I pick up some feeders at hamburg.

    Re: My little hisser. :)

my girl isnt a hatchling anymore but the only times she's ever hissed at me was 1) when she was in deep shed & i was spraying in her cage to up the humidity for her & accidently bumped the hide she was in, lol she inflated her body & in doing so the hide box she was in rose up, exposing her & then she let out a long loud hiss like I had lifted it off her...: .
i was like "aww look at you trying to be mad. your so cute. "
then another time she'd gotten herself into a nice warm comfy spot in my daughters long sleeved shirt in the armpit area with most of her body still in the sleeve. since she would have no part in me getting her out she put up quite the struggle, inflating her body so it fit tighter in the sleeve & then hooking the tip of her tail on the hem at the wrist opening all the while doing little hissy huffs, those are the hiss-snorts, very short bursts of "ss".
she hasnt "talked to me" in awhile since she's calmed down quite a bit now but i do miss our little "chats" rofl.

My super super sweet BP wrapped around my bedframe to soak in some warmth from the sun hitting it, and gave a hiss when I tried to untangle her, she was still a bit head shy at the time, and I had to move her head to grab her tail to unwind her and she wouldn't have it.
