    Cutting 2011 Clutch no.2 - Butter Spider x Pastel

    Hey Guys!

Just cut 2011 Clutch Number 2. Day 59.

5 Eggs from Butter Spider x Pastel. Can't say I am ecstatic about the odds but I am still pleased!

    Enjoy!

An unfortunate pratice with no benefit to the snake.

In your opinion. Tell that to the breeders that have had hatchlings drown and twisted umbilical. You don't have to cut your eggs, I don't judge you for that. All I ask is the same respect in return. You didn't have to watch the video. Besides, it was day 59, they were ready.

Maybe I should just not take videos any more? I always enjoyed cutting videos, thought others would as well.

If you feel free to start a debate, please do so in another thread. This is not what this thread was intended for.

For the others, thank you for your support, much appreciated! The eggs were very full this time around so there was a bit more mess than usual.

    Congrats on your Queenbee!

Now I cut my eggs at day 53-54, but I admit I am a bit more careful when it comes to cutting. I see you rip the egg apart and A LOT of fluids run out. I'd advice you to be a little bit more gentle with the eggs and the fluids contained in them, because if a hatchling is left without most of its fluid and still a yolksac, things dry out very easily. No offensive behaviour - just an advice from breeder to breeder

    Greets,
