    Using PAM

My snake had mites so like everyone says on here, "spray them with PAM" I did. My mom had some stocked up in the kitchen so I just used that. How does coating the snake with oily stuff get ride of mites? I dont think he likes it at all...okay okay calm down! So I didn't do this but just thought that people might wanna specify "PAM" on here, specially with new owners (like myself) lol.

Oh good lord. When we use the acronym PAM on here, we don't mean the kitchen oil stuff. We mean Provent-A-Mite. We really need to start specifying that it's not the kitchen stuff, because if you ask me, that's a pretty dumb acronym to use on a forum where beginners are looking for information. Sorry for the confusion!

Since you used the kitchen stuff on your snake, I highly suggest giving him a good soak and trying to get it off of him. No need for a greasy snake lol.

*EDIT* Hahaha I just read the calm down part wow I'm slow today! but yes, I agree. It definitely needs to be cleared up. I think a new name for it is in order

He said that he didn't really do it. I don't think anyone is actually silly enough to apply cooking spray to their snake.
