Introducing the Sable Het Red Axanthic!

Haven't seen these elsewhere, so I think they are a first.

1.1 Sable Het Red Axanthics (Lace Blackbacks) came out of their eggs this morning. These were produced by a sable male x Ballroom Python South Lace BlackBack, which we proved compatible with the Woods line Het Red Axanthic last year for producing Red Axanthics.

I love how dark and gooey these came out. I'm looking forward to seeing how their color is after they shed. I know sables and het reds aren't the most popular morphs, but I think their potential is really untapped. I enjoy the dark morphs and am very pleased with how these turned out.

Photos include a sable and a het red for comparison.

What do you think? Thanks for looking!

    Cheers,
    Jessica Gibbs

Very nice... I think Het red/red is very underrated morph.. Similar to how YB was underrated few years ago... Is nice to see more and more combos pooping up lately...

    Congrats on Babies

Very Nice! Can't wait to see them after they shed.

I asked around a while back and couldn't find anyone who had made them or knew of anyone making them... I'm breeding Butter Sable x Het Red Axanthic now.
