Thumbs up So my Pastel is a Pastel Yellowbelly...

Well.. This is the possible father. He wasnt a Pastel YB, before...
    http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showt...low-belly-then..

I did a 3 male (Pastel, Butter & Pastel YB) with the Female Genetic Stripe.

    Lay on 28-06.
    Egg shot.

    Genetic Stripe on her Eggs.

    Pip on 23-08

Male on your left. Female on your right. 1.0 Pastel (YB) 2.3 Normal all 100% Genetic Stripe.

The interesting Pastel... (Freshly out of egg)

    Then, the Pastel 1st shed..

The surprise.. Proving the Pastel YB is the father, and proving he is a Pastel YB

My holdback female. Unfortunately, i didnt notice any yellowbelly patterns on the other females. But i like this one, because of the stripe

    Belly.

Its been fun. Now, Lets breed the Pastel YB to an Ivory. And in a year, breed back the Pastel YB het Genetic Stripe to the Genetic Stripe.

Question: is the pastel a pastel yb. if he is a pastel yb, the father is a pastel yb, correct?

    the father. top shot

    belly

    I love BPs..

Congrats on the clutch! However, I'm not seeing any yellowbelly in the sire of pastel hatchling. Though breeding to an ivory would confirm it for sure!

Re: So my Pastel is a Pastel Yellowbelly...

I do not know what everyone that thinks those are not Pastel Yellow Belly’s is expecting to see but they are in fact Pastel Yellow Belly’s. The Female 100% Het Genetic Stripe however is not! Nice clutch, congrats!
