    Thermostat temperature

At what temperature do you set your thermostat for your ball python racks? Mines at 93 and I'm getting some different temperatures. One is at 88-89 the other tub on a different level is 83.5 which is weird. Before it was 88 now all of a sudden it dropped back down to 83

    Re: Thermostat temperature

check your room temp. also, if you have the probe on the middle rack, the top will be higher and the bottom lower, apparently a fan blowing on low can help the hot air at the top of the room stay on the bottom better, which would even out your temps a little better

What kind of thermostat are you using? Is it proportional?

i use hydrofarm thermostat. It's weird because the day I got it and used it the 4 days the temperature was at a constant 88-90 when it was set at 92. After that it started going down to maybe 87-88. One of my tubs is staying at a constant temp but the other tub the temperature is like 87-88 and then today it went down to 84 when it was set to 93. The other tub is still 88-89.
