Uninterested Male?
I've been trying to breed my pastel male, this being the second year, with various normal females between mine and a friend's. Other males have bred with them fine, but not him. Do some males just not breed?
He was sold to me as male, and I probed him as male myself.

Re: Uninterested Male?
Get a second oppinion on probing him first just to rule it out. Also have you cooled him? You dont have to cool to breed but for some males especially virgins it may help. Also another thing you can try is to put him in with another male for a while like 2 weeks. Sometimes it will get the testoserone flowing. I used to do this with my rattlers and cobras when i used to do hots. It worked for them. I would throw like 3 to 4 males in together for a couple weeks and when i would pull em out the would be breeding machines

He's at least 4 years, and over 1000g so I don't think its because he's not mature enough.

ive also heard that if you take a shed from a male and put it in the females tub with the other male it would help the breeding also

The hotspot stays the same, but the air temp goes down. And I'd put him with another male, but all I've got on hand is my friend's males, and they both seem ready to wrestle him to death.

Maybe....he's not interested in girls? Maybe he's gay and is out right refusing to be forced into the sex trade?
