WARNING: The Super Mega Giant Man-Eating Ball Python of Africa...

is now the Super Mega Giant Man-Eating Ball Python of the Mayan City of Palenque!!! Over the last five years, this one man-eating super snake has eaten litterally EVERY LIVING THING on the continent of Africa!!! And now it has swam across the entire Atlantic Ocean (in about five minutes) in search of more prey, and has invaded and claimed the Ancient Mayan city of Palenque as its new home!!!

i got the new decorations for my snakes cage and this is what it looks like, he seems to be enjoying it, he's been exploring for a couple hours now, im still in the process of making him a new hide for that side, but he seems fine for now, so tell me what you guys think!

Ahahahah that was hilarous, the set up looks great but hows the heat n humidity? But I really love those twisted vines, knarley twisted wood is awesome, especially as a back drop for a ball python.

On a more serious note, that's a pretty elaborate setup! I keep mine in very simple tubs, but that's because I have a collection of around 30 - and buying/maintaining 30+ cages like that would be fairly difficult (not to mention I lack the space). But it does look nice, and I'm planning to set up my JCP in a fancy display cage eventually.

P.S. Just make sure none of the branches are TOO high, as BPs have a tendency to be rather clumsy... and also being heavy-bodied snakes, a long fall could cause injury. Otherwise it looks great!

thanks! i always wanted to do a realistic savanah type setup, but i couldnt find anything that i saw fit (im picky). the heats been fine but im gonna check it again today, i have to use a meat thermometer, but i trust its accuracy cause its made to be used in restaraunts, and im sure the FDA has all sorts of rules regarding the accuracy of those things, and i have two of them and they always read the same. and to be honest im not positive on humidity, all i have is a crap petsmart dial hyrgrometer, but i just mist him when it feels low.

tell me about it, they really dont have any sense of gravity lol, but mines actually a decent climber, he does fall, but not all that often, and i re-angled it after i took the pictures to make sure

yeah, i see why you use tubs, theyre way cheaper and easier, but hes my only snake so i figured i'd go all out

you wouldnt happen to know off-hand how much shipping is from there would you? im guessing it might vary from place to place, but you never know with big sites like that
