Spider Het Albinos What To Do?
Its my first season breeding. So have mixed ideas about keeping hatchlings, selling or trading for new morphs.
I have a clutch hatching now Spider X Albino, I know it has 3 spiders in there should be out anytime now. I dont know any sexes of the babies yet.
My plan was to keep 1.2 back if i was that lucky with odds and selling the male off once proven.
But my collection is small at the moment been thinking of selling or trading babies and only keeping a male back this season. I have also been offered a swap for a Savannah male only other double gene i have is a Spider Mojave.
But i cant make any accurate choice until i know their sexes. What would you do?

It depends on how badly you want to breed albino spiders. I would probably keep back at least one male or female to breed back to the albino parent.
[Python regius]
1.0 Black Butter Pinstripe (Amazeballs), 1.0 Pastel Butter Leopard (Thunderbeeper)
0.1 Spider (Charlotte), 0.1 Leopard (Spot), 0.1 Pastel (Buttercup), Fire Sugar (Abaddon), Crystal (Opalescence)
[Python brongersmai]
1.1 T+ Albino (Kushiel & Carmilla)
[Boa imperator]
1.0 Hypo 100% Het Leopard/66% Het Albino (Darcy)
0.1 66% Het Leopard/Albino (Gabby)
[Colubrids]
0.1 Cave-dwelling Rat Snakes (Betty Spaghetti)

Albino Spiders are not high on my list of wanted morphs. I did plan to breed my Pied with the Albino but the pied didnt want to know with the other female, so i used my spider instead with the albino.

If your not into spider albinos I'd sell them all and get what moves you, or trade them for one you desire.

Word to the wise..Never sell a proven breeder until your replacement is ready to step in.

Re: Spider Het Albinos What To Do?
I do want a spider albino but there are longer projects i want to get started like albino pieds, axanthic pieds, ghost pieds, snows etc mainly double recessive morphs as they take longer than co dom projects. Will keep at least one spider back for the project or back to start again.
So may keep spiders and see what i get offered in trade to add more female morphs to the collection. There are some super co dom morphs i want also bel for example.
The plan would have been sell spider het albino male as the year after his sister would have been to size and would have replaced with a albino male.
This year i have my spider mojave coming to size so he going to replace the spider wouldnt consider selling any breeder until i have a new male there doing his job. I was stuck last year when pied didnt do his job only had the spider and a unproven het albino which were locking.

its ashame the male wasnt the albino lol.. thats what im doing male albino with female spider.. im gonna keep all female het albinos and spider het albinos to breed back to albino male... id hold onto ur females at least maybe one male it would be nice in another year or so to have a handful of females to use... more females means more possiblity for eggs which means more money potentially... just my thoughts

Personally, I would hold back a Spider male to breed back to Mom! You can get some Spider Albinos quick which are easy sellers!
