    Blood after shed???

This morning my female Mojave (606g) shed, urinate and defecate and when i was going to take her out to clean the tub, i saw 4-5 drops of blood underneath her. I looked everywhere on her and did not see where the blood could leek. Blood was only below her and not on urin and poo.

Bought her 1 month ago and from then she wont eat. I have never put live rat that is biger than rat pupp so i think that is not a problem.

Can anyone tell what could it bee?

    Re: Blood after shed???

The blood is normal. Sometimes when a snake sheds they have a little blood at their vent, so nothing major to worry about there.

Thanks till few months ago i had 3 boas (now only BPs) but never saw it. Maybe because they were on the coconut fiber substrate and now they are on white paper towel.

    Thanks again.

Thinking she might not eat cause a rat pup is too small. Try a large mouse or a small rat.
