    Question about Eco Earth?

I just bought some eco earth in bag form and I felt that it's a tiny bit damp. Is it okay to put it in my BP's tank or should I get it completely dry first?

You want it damp, too dry and your bp will be sneezing from the dust. Keep it moist, but not so wet that you can squeeze it and have a lot water run out.

It's like the perfect moisture level when it's right out of the bag. It's great stuff, just extremely messy.

If it dries out later on, just mix in about 2 cups of water per half bag and mix it all up in the tank.
