Breeders, do You Feed Live or Frozen/Thawed?

I want to know if breeders that have more than 10 snakes if you feed frozen/thawed or live?
What benefits to you see in the decision you make.
Im not looking for the risk answers for feeding live. I know that argument already. I just want to know why you feed the way you do?

Sorry Yes is Live, No is F/T.

I tried to edit it but cannot. If there is any admins that can fix this that would be great. Thanks.

Mainly live for convenience, but I have a few animals that eat F/T

I breed my own feeders and if I have a surplus (during the winter generally) I euthanize and freeze the surplus and feed it to the animal kept on F/T or those that eat anything, this way there is no waste.

Both here as well. Some snakes are more picky than others and each one can decide to be picky sometimes to. I breed my own mice in a spair bedroom. Much more convienient and way cheaper than buying mice or rats every week. it all boils down to your individual needs and how picky ur herps are.

I also feed live for convenience. With ball pythons too many seem to be finiky about eating F/T and I have to throw away too many when I try. I breed my own feeders so when I feed live I can just take any that weren't eaten back to the rat shed for next week.

I have a question for breeders too. Do you feed frozen/thaw for new babies that will be sold for the seller convenience? Or do you not have issues with that?

I feed live for convenience, but I will switch to F/T if the customer requests it.

Re: Breeders, do You Feed Live or Frozen/Thawed?

I feed live and don't like an animal that will only eat f/t. I just don't like to store rats in my freezer. Im very against putting rats in my freezer next to items I will eat in the future lol. I love to see the regular nature of my animals.

Usually I feed live to babies but will attempt to switch at buyer's request.
