A dinker is something that you're not 100% sure if there's something special about but has some potential to prove out something new.

A dinker is a normal with an unusual pattern that one feels might be genetic, so they decide to put the dinker into their breeding projects to see if it proves out.

Yup, just something special they want to "dink" around with
A room full of empty racks and thermostats that have been unplugged.

Technically every morph available today was at one point considered a dinker. I remember watching Brian from BHB talking about the big risk he was taking purchasing the first pinstripe.

It's amazing what some breeders have found dinker worthy and have had them prove out. A lot of them I would pass up without a second look, others are pretty obvious, some of them prove out, some don't. If I had some extra rack space I wouldn't mind getting a couple of male dinkers to see what happens.

I really like the new "busy" morph that ACReptiles has been using. It looks great on his lessers. He posts them a lot on his facebook page.
Specializing in Ball Pythons, New Caledonian Geckos, and African Fat Tails
