    Finally!

After 6 refusals, all since I have gotten her, my 70 gram female has finally eaten. It happened to be a live hopper mouse, which I'm not too happy about, but at least she ate. I'm only a little disappointed since my 7 other ball pythons and 1 boa all eat f/t without a problem, I now have one that refused every f/t prey thrown at her. BUT, at least she ate. She'll be on live hoppers every 4-5 days to make up for all her refusals before I even think about the switch. Just wanted to share my happiness

Congrats! It's always such a good feeling to know that your BP has a meal in its stomach.

Good to hear she's eating. You know that I have two that won't touch anything but live. One won't eat rats he only wants mice. I have to feed him 3 adults each feeding. I hope your girl will switch over to rats for ya. They fill out so much nice with rats.

All of my other ones are on rats! I have one other female who's growing really nicely but I have to scent her rats or she won't even look at them. Insane...for such "simple" creatures they are so picky sometimes lol. This is why I love them though

That's always frustrating, congrats on getting to finally eat. It's better now than never.

Yes, congrats! Feels like a load off of your shoulders I am sure! She is just a wee one so no worries about swapping her over immediately. Just onward/upward on putting a little weight on her.
