I stumbled across a great scenario for humidity - thought i would share it.I keep my young snakes in 25 quart steriltes on aspen with dual hides, on belly heat - I found that ( I believe it's Oscar Meyer brand) deli meat containers work wonderful. At wal mart, they sell several different types of sandwhich meat in a small plastic container - rectangular, about 5 " long by 3 " wide by about 3 " deep. I set them directly on top of the heat pad and they maintain always between 50 - 60 % humidity in my tubs. I have proven this several times with hygrometer. If your having trouble, give it at a try.
