    4 100% Het Albinos

Well, today I decided to take the plunge and try to breed out my own albino. I picked up 1 male, 3 female 100% het albinos. I got a really good price on them, so I really could not say no at all. With luck, I should be able to get them to breed hopefully in the early part of 2012. I will post a pic of them all in the next few days once they have all calmed down a bit. I am really excited about this, and I also have the full support of my local store from where I picked them up since this is my first time trying to breed.

That's great. You can't go wrong with future albinos. I better see pics!

I think that I may turn this into my little breeders blog or something. But yea, I am really excited about this. I hope it turns out that I hatch out a couple albinos, and while I do like them, my fiancee is absolutely nuts about albino BP. So it works out for both of us.

Well I picked up 4 tubs and lids today. Got the vent holes all put in, put down the paper towel and water dishes, and got the snakes in. I have the ambient room temp at 85 currently since I am waiting to pick up my flexwatt at the Orlando show this weekend. I feel horrible that they dont have a warm side yet, but with the ambient temp I believe they should be fine. I started naming them as well. The male is Stryker. Mortal Kombat had no bearing on his name at all. Just a coincidence. I swear. He earned his name yesterday when I was adding water to his dish and he struck at me twice. One of the females is Sinny, one is Miss Hiss, and the other is Lucy. Pics will be posted tomorrow sometime. If I dont have to work, they will be posted after I get up. If I have to work, well, they will be up at some point.

85 ambient is fine. You could probably get away with 80 even. Good luck on your albino project and congrats!

Simple man- Thanks alot. I hope I am able to hatch out atleast a couple albinos.

And now, since I decided I didnt want to wait until tomorrow to post pics, here they are.

    Here is Lucy

Here is Miss Hiss. I hate to say it, but I think she is my favorite. I love her markings. Plus she has some amazing blushing that my crappy iphone camera wont pick up.

    Here is Sinny

And here is Stryker in his favorite pose. The ready to bite pose... I do really like the long stripe on his tail though.

Very pretty snakes, and I agree; Miss Hiss is sexy!

Thank you very much everyone. When I unboxed all 4 of them and really had a good chance to look at them, I had instantly decided I liked Miss Hiss the most. She just had such amazing markings.
