Red Foot Tort questions

Hey Ok short back story. I am sitting a red foot for ten days, I have every thing set up (the owner and I did) so I am not worried about that but have a question that I don't want to call about.

Should I leave his food in the enclosure with him all day or just let him eat his fill and take it away and leave more in the later afternoon?

When I feed I leave it in. There is usually nothing left by the next day.
