If he's that young and not eating you may have no choice but to feed live. Or try different types of prey

how is he holding his weight?
if he is loosing weight, switch back to live

Right now what you prefer is not the priority the priority is for this animal to eat for you and given he is 4 months I assume he was eating with his previous owner correct? It is VERY likely that your husbandry is the problem among other things.
The key with young animals is SECURITY.
Put him in the smallest tub you can find 6 or 12 quarts tub.
Have Aspen as bedding.
Providve (1) or (2) 6 inches plastic flower post saucers.
DO NOT handle your animal until he feeds with consistency.
Provide proper gradient temps measured with a digital thermometer for accuracy.
Let him settle in his new enclosure for a week and offer a live mouse hopper IN his enclosure.
Just remember the more you are assisting this animal the more you are stressing him which is not helping getting an animal eating on it's own.

Given all the information you have provided, enclosure size, prey type etc I can tell you are simply gonna waste another week and this will not work.
You need to change you husbandry and you need to offer live.
