Lizards, Snakes, and QT
So not that it will do me any good now since I've had my snake for almost a month now, but I was curious if you guys who had lizards before snakes and then got a snake, if you Quarantined your snake from your lizard.
Ididn't even think about it and didn't have any problem having the snake near the lizards.
Now if I got another snake I would be sure to QT it for 90 days, but I didn't even think of quarantining my lizards from my snake.
Can they get any diseases from each other, just to settle my curiosity?

2.2.0.2 Crested Geckos(Dagger, Boga, Kess, Beast, Maka, eggs)(With more eggs on the way from Dagger and Kess!) 1.1 Bearded dragons(Scou, Rizat) 0.1 Normal Ball Pythons(Kallista)
0.1 gargoyle gecko(Rory/Freckles)
Other family members in the house:
0.1 Alaskan Husky(Alaska), 1.2 indoor cats(Boots, Rocket, Fable), 0.1 outdoor cat(Slinky)
1.1 Parents, 0.2 sisters(1 older, 1 younger)

I'm not sure if there are specific diseases to worry about, but there are definitely parasites that can pass between the two types of reptiles. QT is still a wise thing to do.

Yeah, I think the thing I would be concerned the most about is mites, but so far, no mite issues with Kallista. I will definitely only buy from breeders, and only very healthy looking animals.
My lizard is parasite free as well, and could only pass it through his stools, which are cleaned up ASAP if he goes potty in his cage. XD But he normally just gets a bath then is cleaned off afterwards if he makes a mess.
I will be sure to QT next time I get a new reptile.
