    Carpet python question

Is it normal that she hangs out in the open all day on a tree branch inside a plant. That's what mine does
    Thank you

Mine usually hangs out on her branch under her heat lamps in the middle of the cage. If given a hanging hide, she will use it maybe 2/3 of the time. She prefers to hang out on a branch in the open than to hide in a hut or under a plant at the bottom of the cage though.you could always try to give yours a hanging hut (maybe a hanging bird nest... I've used a wooden bird house...but she's outgrown it and I need to find something bigger!)

That sounds about normal. Mine spends most of the time hanging out on his branch. About the only time he uses his hides is when he goes in shed...
