Talking Getting my first ball python soon :D

    Hello all!

My name is Heather, I live in BC, Canada, and I am picking up my first ball python next weekend. I am pretty excited and cant wait! It is a 2011 male spider and a real cutie, eating frozen thawed like a champ now.

I currently have lots of animals, most of them are snakes. I am a corn snake breeder thinking about getting into ball pythons so this little guy I am picking up soon will be my first step into the ball python world. If I like what I see I may consider getting into them in the future.

I was never a big fan of ball pythons up until about 2 years ago, what can I say they have grown on me At the last reptile show I went to my boyfriend (who I am slowly converting over to the reptile side ) picked up a little normal ball and made me envious so now I am picking one up of my own.

I pretty well have the basics down but I find forums a very good resource to learn new things so here I am

    Cheers

I picked him up last weekend and he is amazing! It has been hard not to hold him though but I have been real good and haven't touched him since I got him. Also, he just ate for the first time under my care! AND it was a frozen thawed hopper not a live one! I couldn't be more pleased

Welcome to the addiction. It starts as a pet, then slowly consumes your life.
