    what would happen.....

what would happen is a healthy, captive bred bp, whos been feeding of nice white mice his whole life, ate a house mouse? I mean mouses, rats, etc are FILTHY creatures which i hate, but i know a house rat is extra filthy, especially here in NYC where they go thru garbage and grease and all that crap. So im just a little curious, would it be terribly bad if a nice ol bp fed on a filthy house mouse caught on a trap? (not the glue traps)

I would not let my snake eat a filthy mouse like that. They often have parasites and other diseases not to mention the fact that they could have gotten into some kind of poison.

Ditto, you just said yourself how filthy you believe them to be. Why would you risk your snakes health?

yeh thats what i figuered, just wanted to make sure.

Let me explain my situation here, there is this DAMN DIRTY MOUSE here in my apt that i have especial hatred for, he is extremely smart, he has evaded every glue trap, and is lightning fast, he has become a pain in the last few days, as i hate, no i DESPISE of rodents, and im sick and tired of him running thru the door and having me jump in the air when i see him (yes im that scared of rodents)

So this guy thinks he is very smart and that he will never get caught and is making hell of my life, i was hoping somebody on here would say "sure, its ok to feed those to your BP, in the wild the ASF's or other rodents they feed on are filthy too" But in the back of my mind i knew damn well that house mice are filthy, and i would never feed one to my BP unless like a got a hundred replies here that said yes its ok, because my plan was, or my "fantasy" was, going out of my way and catch this damn mouse alive, even if i have to stand by the corner of the door for hours with gloves on and catch him with my bare hands, and guess what? throw him in the tank and have him destroyed by my BP, then i would shout, out loud in my apt, alone by myself mind you, "Let this be a lesson to any other mouses here in this apt, when u come in here this is what happens to you!!!!"

but, this would always be a fantasy, i know better than to feed my BP a filthy mouse...

I would never let any of my snakes eat a house mouse. I know someone who would let their savannah monitor free roam the shop and one day he managed to catch a wild mouse and he got extremely sick. He was throwing up, would sitting under the basking lamp and not move for hours. It was sad, thankfully he pulled through though.
