So I've seen a ton of baby deserts but what do the adults turn out to be, Ive seen one in person but not many online, and it looks like they lighten and brown out a little too. Adult desert pics anyone??

I saw this one at Daytona. Not exactly an adult, but probably around at least 1000 gams I would say. I have no idea who had it at the show, so I don't know who to give credit to.

Here is a picture of my adult Female Desert at 2004 grams in weight taken a few months ago. She looks pretty good to me with no brown out. She is from the Stan Chiras/PE line.

For those of you what are wondering what is happening with the breeding of her; I thought she ovulated in July. It was a small swelling but looked like ovulation none the less. She had what I thought was a pre-lay shed last week but so far she is showing no signs of nesting or any thing that a normal gravid Female does. If nothing happens I will try again next season as I am resting the Male I was using to breed her. I have to get some food and size back on him. We shall see.

Have you tried palpating her to see if you could feel any eggs in her?
