what should my 1 1/2 yr old ball weigh?

I got goober from the store a month ago, he had been there a year! poor guy. Was caged with another ball. They said he was 1 1/2 yr old and ovealy small. I weighed him yesturday and he is 225grams. I'm just wondering what is a average weight for a ball this age? He is eating good for me know. They had him on small weaning mice, he just had his first adult mouce this week. He's happy and healthy I'm just curious about a healthy weight to ame for. Thank you!

It really depends on the animal. I have some that are over a year old and pushing 600 grams or bigger, but I also have some that are right around the 250 mark or so, but that was due to them going off feed for a couple months also in the winter.

the pet stores feed them usually twice a month to keep them small and cost of food down.

The norm for a male that age for me is 700g and female is 1400g. With proper feedings hell be up to weight

These guys took the words right out of my mouth.
My late '10 bps are 250+
My year old males are around 650g with some of my females pushing 750g
Some snakes just grow at different rate, as long as you get your new guy on a regular feeding schedule he should start gaining a good amount.
Weigh him once a month and you should be happy with the results.
