    Gtp question

I just red some husbandry on a green tree python and it said that they don't need a water dish because thy drink off their coils. Is this true?

It's true that they drink off their bodies/leaves/enclosure walls when you spray them. I would still provide a water bowl for drinking. Some will use them some won't, hence spraying them is very important not just for humidity.

Mine will drink out of a waterbowl if she sees the droplets fall into the bowl during a spray. Otherwise she completely ignores "stagnant" water.

Well, what kind of setup do you have? Mine is more active at night especially when hungry. What kind and how old is yours?
