    opened mouth

hey when i went to feed my ball python hatchling this morning i noticed that before trying to feed her after i picked her hide up off her i looked at her for a min and she opened one side of her mouth then closed it immediatly, is she just readjusting her jaw or should i take her to the vet she didnt eat but she is also about to shed her eyes just cleared up yesterday and i tried feeding her a f/t rat pinky i usually feed live but im waiting for my rats to have their babies.

my husbandry is almost spot on to the caresheet

and i also noticed that at first when i was dangling the rat her tongue wasnt comming out all the way but after a few tounge flicks she had her tounge comming out all the way is that normal

the reason why i think she is readjusting her jaws is cause the hide she uses is small so she is crammed in there and it takes her a good 15 seconds to get in there cause she has to adjust her part of her body that is already in the hide to get the rest of her body in
