    Ashy snake

Jackson is looking ashy. Like white ashiness in his scales. He is also really irritable. He's 4 months old and three weeks away from his last shed, so I thought he might be getting close to that time, but he wasn't ashy lookin last time. (His belly is also starting to go pink, I'm pretty sure he will shed soon- no cloudy eyes yet, though). Anyone notice anything like this in their snakes?

My snakes always get antsy and irritable when they're approaching a shed. Your boy is definitely sounding like he's going to shed very soon. Either the cloudy eyes are coming or you may have missed them. Nothing to worry about!

i just noticed the "ashy" stuff on my snake as well. I pulled him outta his bowl to give him a look over and noticed it. i think its just from something in the water. ya know when you wash some dishes and let them air dry? thats the only logical thing i can think of
