Normal x pastel 100% het pied

Well...today I cut clutch #2 (8 eggs from normal x pastel 100% het pied x spider. Originally I had bred the normal mama to my spider male and as the season ended I figured I'd throw in my pastel het for pied male just to make sure I got some eggs. (1st time breeding this season). Today the clutch was cut and I found out, much to my dismay, that the pastel had gotten the job done.
Can you tell me if these are pastels, my 1st clutch was pastel x spider and she threw a gorgeous pastel with lots of blushing...these don't have that blushing...and I'm confused..lol so help would be appreciated.

Re: Normal x pastel 100% het pied

would not of gotten a chance at aa pied unless both parents are het pied. ten it only a 25% chance.( that if both parent are 100% het het
the chances go down (until proven het for pied- getting a visible pied)

I did not pair the mom with a cinny but, she did have several previous owners before she found her forever home with me. Its a possibility that she was bred before I got her...that would be such a wonderful surprise if it is a cinny! Thank you for your responses, you guys/gals are awesome!

lol never know anymore with so many joining the hobby and( i hope more do ) I had people ask me why a het pied does not look like a pied and then I have to explain the genetics to them lol and they are still lost so I refer to the het as half breed and it seem people under stand then lol..
