Incubating temp went too high

I have 3 clutches of royals currently incubating at different stages my probe moved yesterday and the temp got to 94.3. Is this high enough to badly affect the growing snake.

From the time me leaving incubator to noticing the temp was too high was about 5 hours. It normally is around 88.

I am hoping the change was slow. Once i noticed lowered the temp down to 91 and let it drop slowly back to 88.

The 3 clutches one clutch is hatching, one is about 3 weeks incubating the last clutch is only a week in.

I don't think it will have too bad of an effect. In the wild they probably endure temp spikes and cold temps all the time.89 is only the ideal temp. I wouldn't worry about and co insane, there's only one way to find out

I think you will probably be ok since you caught it pretty quickly.

That what i was hoping as it was only a short period. Just need to wait and see now if any damage done.

Been checking 3 - 4 times a day on temps since to make sure its back running ok.

I had a clutch get up to 94 for 2-3 days and they all hatched fine. Definitely scares ya but there's much less to worry about than it seems. They're resilient.

If you had the probe on the heat tape and it moved only a few inches from it you're probably ok, it takes quite a bit of time for the ambient air temperatures to get up and even longer for the inside of the eggs. Anyway a few hours you're probably fine.
