Jackson turns up in suprising place...
I just about panicked this morning, when I went to turn on the light for Jackson's "daytime" simulation and raise his thermostat (I know the light isnt nescessary, but it makes us humans feel better) he was nowhere to be seen in his tank! My lid slides on and locks, so I was completely bewildered as to how he possibly could have escaped. I started to search the (secure) lid to find some fatal flaw when I found him- I wrapped half the lid in saran wrap to help with humidity, and there he was, between the saran and screen. I wish I could have seen him get up there 'cause I just can't quite figure how he did it...

Re: Jackson turns up in suprising place...
Hi,
Don't use night time drops - he doesn't need it and it it just complicates thigns needlessly.
I would tape ( outside only please ) saran wrap or tinfoil to the outside of the lid only to sop him turning himself into a sandwitch filling.

question for Dr. Del
Thanks for the saran wrap tip, done. I would have hated to eliminate it completely as it really does help. If I dont need to do a temp change between day and night, what should I leave it on? Right now its at 88-90 hot side, 80-85 cool side.

Your temps sound pretty good.
My Hot is 89-91 Cool 80-82
Review the Caresheet.

Temps sound fine ... same to the above ... No drop needed x2 and the light really isn't needed either. The ball won't care.
