    Question Problem feeders? IDK

Does anyone else seem to find it weird that its harder to feed python (at times) than it is to feed boas? I've had my red tail boa for about 15-16 months now and she hasn't refused a single meal once. I've had my bp for about as long and I've noticed that he goes off after every couple of months. He's not sick, he's as alert as can be and explores anywhere whenever I take him out. I haven't bred him yet (I plan to next season) so all year last year I've kept him at a constant 90-91 degree temp with an over all 79 degree at night just the same for the boa.
Now I have a children's python and she did the same thing, she fed for about a month and a half and today just flatout ignored the rat.
Is it a python thing? Should I really really really worry? Like 'go to the vet worry?'

No you shouldn't worry that much mine do that sometimes too especially during breeding season. As long as they don't lose any weight i wouldn't worry about it. If they do start to lose weight then try another feeder. Pythons love asf's if you can get your hands on them but do that as a last resort, try mice first or if they are on mice rats.

I would not try switching feeders. ASF are incredibly hard to find, most buyers don't want to buy from someone who feed them because they are hard to find, people also don't want an adult snake that only eats mice because of how many one would have to feed. It is normal for BPs to go off feeding throughout the year. If he isn't losing a ton of weight I wouldn't think much of it, even though it's frustrating. Good luck.
