Cleaning a tank PRIOR to using it?

    hey BP.net!

Here I come with more noob questions!

I have a glass tank that I bought for my BP, but since I'm not going to use it yet, I thought I could give other uses to it (storage, as a fish tank (for the curiosity), for playing with my cat, among other things). The thing is that I want to clean/disinfect/sterilize it before putting the snake in....

Could I use alcohol? Lysol? Clorox disinfecting wipes?

Keep in mind that I could let the tank 'breathe' for a couple of days with no problem, and I could wash it with warm water/soap afterwards.

    What say you?

    Thanks
