    Talking Hey all!

Well I guess I should introduce myself. I'm not currently a Ball Python owner, but a future one I am waiting until tax refund time, so in the meantime I am trying to learn all that I can about keeping them. I stumbled upon this site, and have been lurking for a few days. It seems to me there are some educated keepers on this site! Anyway, I am sure I will end up with LOTS of questions, as I know nothing about BPs... only had a little corn snake several years ago and didnt have it too long (had to move out of state and couldnt bring him with). So the little knowledge I had has long since left my brain, lol. Also, if anyone could suggest some good books that I could pick up to learn from, would be helpful as well.
    Thanks!

Hello, and to BP.net. A good place to start is the caresheet on this forum:

Congratulations on doing all of the research and preparations in advance. It will make things alot easier whenever you do bring your new little friend home.

    Hello!

Welcome to BP.net! Check out the caresheet that Vypyrz linked in his/her post. Also, a good book to read would be 'The Complete Ball Python' by Kevin of NERD. It's primarily about genetics, but is still a good read.

I hope you enjoy your stay here @ BP.net, its a wonderful site with TONS of knowledge and information at your fingertips.

What kind of Ball Python are you planning to get?

Not sure yet, it will all depend on my expenses. While I have seen some very beautiful ones, I see that some of the morphs can be quite pricey! I will be happy with whichever one I end up with. He/she will have to choose me just as much as I choose him/her.
