    help finding my snake

    i have a baby ball python and she was in her cage and active when i left for about 2 hours when i come back she and maneuver her way out of the tank any suggestions on were to start and how to go about looking for her would be greatly appreciated

    look close to her tank...the usualy dont go far...you can also put flower at the door to see if she crosses it...look in small places they like it tight...remember to look high and low they can climb quiet well

    Search close to the tank. They don't tend to go far. If you don't find her near the tank work your way out from there. If a place seems to small for her to hide, check it twice. They get into tiny places.

    Secure the room if you can to limit the escape area. Search at night when it's dark. They don't venture out often during the day.

    Don't panic if you don't find her right away. It can take days/weeks to find them. You can try leaving a heat mat on the floor near a way with a hide on it. She might be drawn to the heat.

    flour just makes a big mess. If you want to do this I suggest rice, it's much easier to clean up afterwards.

    i did put the flour down around most furnature and also accross the door way and i also have made the room dark and only been going in to check once in a while with a flashlight but i will put her hide and heat mat down and see if she comes to that not going to panic she just eat last week so she can go a few days with no harm also looking for a better tank set up lol

    If you left the door open snap into action (think like a snake)
    If not search the room top to bottom ...also you can try you leave some food to draw it out.
    Check the cold spots in the house/room aswell.
    0.1 normal ball python scarlett (even though we been through hell and back just note you are the best)
    0.1 (soon to be blood python)

    they like heat. check electronics, in back of the fridge, any where that heat is involved.
